Why Do Fishermen Use Fake Baits?

Maybe its because they can be so convenient to use, can target certain species of fish, stay on the hook longer and can be cast further than some other type of baits, they can be presented on a hook better and can avoid fish taking the bait off the hook, meaning you’re not wasting your time with no bait on your hook.

Another great reason to use fake bait is fish don’t realise they are fake, they can certainly look real enough even to the human eye, they can smell good too with so many different flavours available and they can present well in the water and quite simply look just like natural bait.
